I have noticed that in memory we have classmates and friends with no comment about theirs lives they were ours friends and classmates any of us who knew them please pass on a memory about theirs lives.                        They say we die 3 times when our hearts stop, when we are buried, and when your name is no longer mention .Lets keep all of classmates mention.

Beautiful said Michael. It's sad to see so many have passed, but at least we can keep our memories of them going.

Michael, this is so true. We have indeed lost a great deal of our classmates and friends over the years. Although we didn't know everyone in the class, our hearts certainly go out to their families and friends.

Hopefully,  at our next class reunion,we can all be there and be thankful that were able to be there and raise a glass to honor all those we have lost .

Well said Michael,

I have never noticed the message board in the past, but your point is well taken.

Looking forward to the Big reunion. If we could all roll back the hands of time and be smarter for our experiences we probably would have done some  things differently.

Hope this note finds all well......

Our 50th Reunion Committee has been nice enough to block some hotel rooms for our reunion (Geez, 50!) in September.  The hotel properties are the Hampton and the Radisson.  It has been many years since I lived in Northport, or had family there, so I have no idea which hotel property to pick.  The room rates are the same, so price is not an issue.  It would be great if someone who lives in the area would recommend one or the other.  Also... It would be fun to stay where most of us will be “hobbling” in.

Any guidance will be greatly appreciated.

It is with great sadness to report that I cannot attend the 50th Reunion and miss the biggest birthday party to be held in my honor on September 15th!  LOL.  Seriously, I simply cannot make the trip at this time however, I will be in NY with my wife to visit my daughters and grand kids around Holloween.  Should anyone like to have a get together for lunch or dinner, please call or text message me at 832-816-4189.

I’ll miss you at the reunion. Hope everything is well with you and it is just the impending hurricane that is keeping you home to keep your home safe. I fly out on Thursday hoping the weather doesn’t cancel my flight to NY.

Hi Every body        I too am sorry I will not be up to the Island for the that.  I had to wait till last minute to have my doctors  OK  to drive up.  Well don't you know  they said yes go but Florence had other plans.  My wife and I have spent last few days getting ready.  Plenty of food, water and gas for generator so we should be OK. Not sure when we might be up but we still have family up there.  Will post if we plan a trip.   Ken Schneider

Waited as long as possible to send my regrests about being unable to attend our milestone reunion. The photos from the past one show what a fun evening everyone had. Thought I might get to Pumpernickel's, but that is 'no go' as well. My best wishes to my '68 class mates and enjoy the evening. Jamie Greenlees

Quality time with quality classmates.  Cindy and I were blessed to share the weekend with so many friends both past and present.  Venue was wonderful - libations At Pumpernickel’s and sunsets at Northport Yacht Club rank second only to the moves of the Booze Brothers, Randy the K and Cousin Billy Walsh.  Thank you NHS Committee members - you rock!

It was great catching up with my classmates at the 50th reunion. We had many laughs reminiscing about days gone bye. Thank you to the planner of the event for a beautiful venue, delicious food and fun entertainment.  I look forward to seeing everyone in the future for more laughs and memory making. Live happy and think young.

Where do I begin?  I had a great time at our reunion - a very special evening!  It was wonderful to visit, talk and catch up with everyone, and to see people that maybe I hadn't seen since graduation.  I cannot thank our reunion committee enough for their absolutely excellent planning and efforts, that brought all of us, a very, very special, and happily memorable evening together, on the water at the yacht club - excellent food, great music, and a spacious room with an ambience that made possible partying, talking to each other, and camradarie,  .  Bill and Randy you were excellent DJs with pretty cool hats!  And I found the bagpipe music very moving and just stunning!  Once again, many thanks to the committee and everyone who attended for a making a great evening happen!

I also had a wonderful time this weekend at the reunion. It was so great seeing some classmates for the first time in many years and catching up with others I talk to occasionally. Thanks to the reunion committee who have always done a fantastic job.

I just want to add my thanks to the committee for our wonderful 50th reunion.  It was so fun and truly heart-warming to reconnect with so many friends from so long ago but who still seem so familiar today. The effect was magic, and I left the Yacht Club feeling years younger than when I walked in.

Wishing everyone all the best until we meet again!
