Only today did I learn of Angie's passing in 2014. It's been 50 years since our graduation, so most of us have no idea what memories remain in the thoughts of those we knew. I remember Angie's smile. Not so much the shy one in her class photo, but the big bright sparkling smile that brightened her face & made her eyes twinkle. Rest in peace Angie, in my mind's eye you'll remain forever 18.
What a lovely remembrance, Roger! I did not really know Angelica, and did not know she had passed away, so I’m responding as much to your thoughtful and eloquent words. I resisted signing up for Northport High’s Webpage as I only spent my last year of high school there and did not stay in touch with classmates, but I’ve been touched by many of the posts I’ve read. Still can’t believe it’s been 50 years, as in my mind’s eye we are all forever young!
