Jeff Beytin & I flew up to Connecticut to see Mike at the end of May

We spent 5 great days with him, watching Yankee games on TV 

and reminiscing about old glory days and ones to come.  Mike had a 

Great attitude about his cancer and the life he expected to live going forward.

I first met Mike in St. Philip Nero choir in 5 th grade. We became instant friends 

And remained so for more than 60 years. We vacationed together with him and his wife Joanne

On many occasions & remained close through the end. Mike leaves his daughter

Tracey, her husband Bobby and three wonderful Granddaughters. His last years he spent with his companion

Linda Asmar who nursed him through his chemo treatments and was a constant source of support & love 

These past few years. Mike was a gentle soul who loved deeply, was a devoted partner & Grandfather. 

He will be missed by all who knew & loved him.  As we parted for the last time in May we both said

I’ll see you on the other side. Godspeed my dear friend❤️🙏😪
