David and I sat next to each other in Business Law. I both admired and envied David for his self-reliance, non-conformity and his fringed chug-a-log boots. I made my mother purchase a pair of those boots for me after seeing David's. I felt if David could wear them, so can I. Tall and good looking, I thought David had alot to offer in this wonderful world.
I was sad to learn of his passing. May he rest in peace.
