I am so sorry to hear the loss of Emil.  Some of us use to hang out every so often. My condolences go out to his wife and family.

Cathy, you put it so very well, about all of us as classmates/ family.

I am sorry and saddened to hear about Emil.  My thoughts and condolences to his family. He had written about his involvement in his church community.  I am sure that has made his family very proud of him.  I really admired what Email wrote in his bio about his accomplishments in life, career, and devotion to family   We emailed back and forth a few times and it was good to hear from him.  A passion of his was cars.  I was very impressed that he had started and published his own magazine about his interest, and in addition was a founder of an on-line group that had in depth discussions about this.  You could tell just from how he wrote about it, that his interest was a part of his life that he greatly enjoyed.  I really wished Emil could have made it to one of the reuinions.  It would have been good to chat with him.

Emil was always a great Guy, talked to him a few years ago in hopes we would get together. I remember teaching him some Guitar chords, and wrote a song together "I'm sick and Tired" not a bad song for it's day. me .him and our old friend Jim Pfeffer (passed in 1987) always had fun hanging. R.I.P my Friend, God bless you and your Family. Another Sad day.

It was wonderful to follow Emil and his family the last couple of years on FaceBook.  He showed great strength through his faith, wore his heart on his sleeve, and had a shirt he would give you if you needed one.  I have a strong feeling he will be greeted with a "well done thy good and faithful servant."  Our loss is heaven's gain.
