I remember Rich and his girlfriend always hand in hand in the hallways of school. He was a real nice guy. Rich died not to long after high school graduation in the mid seventys from leukemia.
Oh, I am so sorry to hear that. I didn't know him well other then he was a nice guy and always had a quick smile for you when you ran across him in hall or the Commons.
Richard and I were an item throughout most of our senior year. We were both newcomers so it made sense that we would gravitate towards each other. But it was more than that — Richard was funny, athletic, smart, very cute, sexy! And a talented actor and singer who could have done much more with his talent had he chosen to, but, tragically, he died so young of leukemia! A terrible loss for his family and all who knew him.
Mostly I remember his terrific sense of fun, his quick wit, his joyfulness. How sad to have one so promising, so young, taken from us.
